Between our 10 zillion kids, husbands, partners, work and such, it’s infinitely easy to lose touch with our friends, right? Right. Upset that we only got to see each other once in a blue moon (or at a baby shower), my college crony Christy created the Lunch Bunch. The gist of this group? Once a month, my gal pals meet up for lunch or brunch on a Sunday where we drink far too many mimosas, chat, kvetch, share mommy tips, belly laugh A LOT, sing, hoot and holler. There’s no pressure to attend, no strings attached, no necessary book to read, no present to buy, no legitimate reason to get together, but alas there is: Sometimes, getting together for the sake of just being together is all you truly need.
